With maybe a few more factions (ork gargants, Tyranid bio-titans) and some UI improvements, I'd say the game would be worth a good deal more than the price tag.. Hasn't changed at all so far as I can see in the year I've had alpha access. Doesn't seem like anybody is working on it. The mechanics for gameplay are very poor, very stark contrast to gothic, in fact a reskin of gothic with titans would frankly be much better.. Guys, I really like the developing game but what the hell is going on with the super complicated combination of mouse clicks and menu options to get your titans to fire. I need a team of seviators to help me along with a techprients just to fire on the bad guys. Movement si simple enough but crap you guys have made weapon firing way to "stupid" complicated. Please dumb it down so we can drink beer and play the game. Thank you, Tim. Is good enough for its price, as an early access game. But still, game has extreme lack of content, developers, please do your job. As a tabletop Warhammer 40k player, I approve :>. I love Sanctus Reach, me and my mate have played 500+ hours pvp, and I'm buying this because I hope it becomes something we can sink the next 500 hours into. I own the new Battletech, and have 25 hours in that, and after 2 hours I'm more hopeful about this as a pvp timesink, as a WH40K fan. It's in development, but I have high hopes for it. Thought I'd say so while sale is on.. You have a setting called fantastic in the options menu. It's broken.. Nothing to see here. Just another GW license scam with bought upvotes and blind fans. Dice rolls make no sense and are rigged, opponents always get the first turns in important situations, it is just as slow as battletech, they shoot at you in melee range, small battlefields and only a few units, proportions of the buildings are way off, maybe because it wants to be an adaption of the tabletop? But it is simply not a fun game at the moment and overpriced if they really want to up the price to 15$. So, the question is, do you want a SJW, no white people, more polished but just as boring mech game or another mediocre 40K title? IF they keep the current price, then you might want to keep an eye on it until/if they improve the mechanics. I am so sick of 40K games. Vermintide, Mordheim and the Space Hulk titles are the only worthy ones.Adeptus Refundicus. Heresy. New Warhound variant updated!: Adeptus Titanicus: Dominus has been updated again, this time adding a new Warhound Titan variant armed with dual Vulcan Mega Bolters! The new Warhound variant is available to play now in both single-player and multi-player!. News: Battlefields are being replaced as part of first Major Update for Adeptus Titanicus: Dominus: Hello, everyone! Glenn and I are writing this post to let you know about a big change that's coming as part of our first Major Update for Adeptus Titanicus: Dominus. In response to some feedback received about the look and feel of the battlefields, Glenn has painstakingly recreated each of the three existing maps to improve and extend Dominus' aesthetics—in doing so, he has also set a new, much higher bar, and from which all the battlefields yet to come will likewise benefit. This change in approach to battlefield design is actually what has caused the first Major Update to take as long as it has. But we think it's worth the wait—we hope you will agree. We have posted screenshots of the replacement Desert Wastes battlefield, which is now being tested in-game, to our Facebook page[www.facebook.com]We'll be posting screenshots of the other new maps when they're ready. On behalf of Glenn and myself, THANK YOU for your continued support for us and Adeptus Titanicus: Dominus through our Early Access journey. Your feedback, your Steam reviews and your enthusiasm has been fantastic and is very much appreciated. We hope you will continue to add your voices, sharing your thoughts and opinions with us, and help make Dominus the best game we can make it. :). Adeptus Titanicus: Dominus shooting model and other behind-the-scenes changes: Hi everyone! It's Mark here with news about a significant change Glenn and I have made to how shooting works in Adeptus Titanicus: Dominus.Changes to how shooting works. Updated! AI changes and a new Warhound variant!: Another Warhound variant has been added to Adeptus Titanicus: Dominus, combining a Vulcan Mega-Bolter with the new Turbo Laser Destructor for a mid-tier Scout Titan that packs a decent punch without the pricey points cost of the more powerful variants. The new Warhound TL|VM variant is available for immediate deployment in your single- and multi-player games. This update also brings a much-needed overhaul of the AI. It selects targets more intelligently, resulting in fewer wasted turns, and it will now use Overwatch. Combined with the new scenarios released in last week's update, we hope veteran Legates will get a fresh challenge.. News! Changing damage model: from Abstraction to Direct Action: Hi everyone! We're getting closer every day to releasing the first Major Update to Adeptus Titanicus: Dominus, so now is a good time to let you know about a significant change we're making to how damage works in Dominus. As you may know already, over the past few months, we've been engaging in discussions with our players here in our Steam Discussions forum about all aspects of the game. One area that has frequently been flagged for discussion is how damage was handled. To date, we have tried to keep Dominus as close to the original 4th Ed 6mm tabletop experience as we could. This meant that damage, like on the tabletop, was calculated at the end of your Titan's action, which allowed us to take time-on-target and other mechanics into account almost exactly as they were accounted on the tabletop. We thought this was cool. Our players found it counter-intuitive and generally did not like it very much. We've had the past few months to ponder this feedback. To weigh it up. To consider all angles. We've come to a conclusion: you are right. We decided to make a change and take the damage model further away from the tabletop's abstraction in favour of a more direct action approach that calculates damage as it happens, in real-time. As the bullets are flying, as it were.Total Overhaul of the Damage Model. Update - new Warlord variant available!: We have updated Adeptus Titanicus: Dominus again, this time adding another new Warlord Titan variant! Armed with twin Volcano Cannons and dual Laser Blasters, this latest addition is perhaps the most powerful Warlord yet—but it comes at a hefty price of 1025 points.
